When people talk about Mount Everest, they probably imagine the highest mountains in the world and freezing cold. However, at the foot of the Ganesh Himal mountain range hides a true treasure of the coffee world. Because here is the cultivation area of the "Mount Everest Supremo". It is cultivated here at an altitude of 2,200-2,400 meters. The plantation that supplies Mokaflor is the Plantec Coffee Estate and has a size of 100 hectares.

A special feature of this highland coffee is the direct irrigation with meltwater flowing down.
This is full of valuable trace elements such as iron and provides the coffee plants with everything they need for magnificent growth. Once the ripening phase is complete, the beans are picked and washed by hand. They are then dried. Now comes the final sorting, in which unsightly specimens and foreign bodies are removed.

Once it arrives in Italy, the Mount Everest Supremo enjoys special individual treatment.
The beans are washed again and then slowly and gently refined in a drum roaster. This process removes much of the acidity contained in the raw beans.

Taste and aroma
Despite its 100% Arabica beans, Suprema is pleasantly mild in taste. This particular espresso offers fragrant lovers a complex and delicately spicy aroma with a full-bodied finish. In a single sip, nuances of chocolate, walnuts, orange and vanilla can be tasted.

Preparation
For preparation in a portafilter machine, we recommend a water temperature of 94°C and extraction 25ml in 27 seconds. But also with the preparation in a moka pot, Frenchpress or filter you will achieve very good results.
